Just picked up this Chinese SKS at a gun show plus a big box of 7.62x39 ammo. In pristine shape. I'm mainly a rimfire shooter but can't wait to take this bad boy out for a spin. But the real bubba massacree happened when an ignorant (me) decided he didn't like the grenade launcher on it. So, drill, file, and punches in hand I proceeded to remove, without any grace or dignity, the grenade launcher with the rifle laying safely in my lap.Save the original stock (and parts). Mar 24, 2008 · My sks's are generally much more accurate for target shooting and hunting. I also have an SKS-M and it doesn't feel or shoot like a bubba job. I like real military weapons but the hybrid is a fantastic rifle. I saw a real bubba sks that took ak mags at the last gun show in Denver and the mag well was a mess.

It's not all matching either - dust cover and trigger group match. The bolt and bolt carrier match the receiver. A "Bubba" or "Mall Ninja" is the type that would buy dodgy aftermarket parts like a detachable mag replacement that may not fit quite right and a "tactical stock" with rails they would never use and a scope mount that's made of low quality metal.
